Willits Unified Special Education Services are part of the Mendocino County Special Education Local Planning Area.  Our services follow this local plan which is reviewed annually.  Click on the link for all the local plan information.  

The California Department of Education (CDE) requires that each SELPA obtain approval for the Local Plan, Annual Budget and Service Plans following a public hearing by its governing board. The Superintendent’s Policy Council held a public hearing on Friday, May 14, 2021 to review the 2021-2022 Local Plan, Annual Budget Plan, Annual Service Plan, and supporting attachments.
